Best School Award in H-West Ward Schools - 2012Our School received Best School Award amongst H West Ward Schools.
Principal Mrs. Salma S. Lokhandwala selected for Educational & Cultural tour to Iran by Women’s Organisation of Tehran-Iran (Iran Cultural House)to witness the progress of Women in Iran in the 1st batch of 20 ladies scheduled from 27th August’99 to 3rd September’99. Principal Mrs. Salma S. Lokhandwala selected by Agha Khan Foundation for Education Tour to study Education & Empowerment in Bangladesh to understand the work carried out by NGOs in educational field of the country. Out of 110 schools, our school is proud to be affiliated to AIF (America India Foundation). The representative from America surveyed about 110 schools in Mumbai and selected 10 schools to donate Computers. Our school is one of them. We received from them 10 Computers, 2 Printers, 1 Scanner to train our teachers and students in Computer Education and Internet learning. We were provided with free Internet for 1 ½ years. MC Donald selected our school to donate “KAY-YAN” Audio Visual Kit worth Rs. 2.5 lakhs. We are the proud recipient of the “Best School” amongst all Anjuman-I-Islam (Urdu Medium)” Our school was adjudged the Best School for the Best S.S.C. Results for the year 2004-2005 amongst all the Urdu Medium Schools of Mumbai, Thane & Raigad. Our School was one of the prestigious one in Mumbai selected for the introductory offer to launch the globally successful “7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE TEENS” training in India. Hence our 150 students got the opportunity to attend the training programme. Our Principal had the honour to attend the symposium on 8th Habit by Dr. Stephen Covey at Hilton Tower Mumbai on 23rd March’06. At that time our students displayed their projects on “7 HABITS” and had the honour to have talk with Dr. Stephen Covey. We started Semi-English Medium for Std. V & Std. VIII from the year 2010-2011 which will continue for Std. VI & IX in the year 2011-2012 & St. VII & X in the year 2012-2013 so as to improve the teaching standard of the school as well as the students. Awarded as ‘BENCHMARK SCHOOL’ amongst all the schools of H-Ward in the year 2010-2011 on account of best performances in various Academic as well as Non-Academic Activities. INSPIRE AWARD
School selected for INSPIRE AWARD at Zonal Level for the year 2011-2012 & has got opportunity to present for Regional Level at Nasik. |
